[Product Scent]: Menthol,Mint, and herb blend

[Product Consistency]: This brown conditioner has a certain grit to it. The conditioner isn’t smooth, but rather thick and creamy with crystals meaning you need to rinse your hair and your bathtub well after use.

[Product Realities]: It took me some time to get on board with this conditioner. Initially I hated this conditioner. It didn’t seem to do much for my scalp and was a bitch to rinise.  I put this conditioner on the shelf for a long time.

One day my hair seemed weighed down and it needed something between a clarifying shampoo and a co-wash.

Enter The Wellness System conditioner.

I use this by applying conditioner from the tip to the roots of my hair and let it sit on my hair for the majority of my shower. After letting it steam in, I rinsed twice and surfaced to find softer hair that has been detoxed. My hair emerges cleaner, lighter, and stronger. This conditioner doesn’t have the slip of others but acts as a mini clay treatment gently removing buildup.

While even after discovering a use for this product I don’t reach for it frequently. But you know who does, the him counterpart. He finds the conditioner doesn’t keep his hair as moist as others ( all his half an inch of hair), but he loves the refreshing smell and that oh so clean feeling.

I would not repurchase 32 oz of this conditioner, but I would pick some up if in need of clay -like- cleanse.
